READING THE BREEDING CHART:

1.      Determine the weight of your horse using a scale or weight tape.

2.      Locate the appropriate chart for your horse’s production status (breeding stallion or pregnant/lactating mare).

3.      Find the horse’s production status in the left hand column and weight across the top of the chart.

4.    You will find the feeding recommendation where the production status row and weight column intersect.
