We are Ohio natives, and fiercely loyal to our native Buckeyes. We believe that Tribute Equine Nutrition/Kalmbach Feeds offer our Pony Team the highest level of nutrition which ensures they can look and perform their best! We also know that Dr. Dan Burke, Ph.D. is available to answer our questions or concerns and that's the makings of one very successful team!

In both 2010 and 2011 with successful show seasons, we secured the overall pony team top honors from the American Driving Society. Team Wind Chase was named to the United States Equestrian Federations Developing Drivers Team in 2011 and has plans in 2012 to compete at the FEI level.

El Novio is a 10 year old paso fino gelding. Shortly after coming to First Class Horse Complex, Novio was diagnosed with ulcers. After treatment and changing his feeding program to Essential K and Kalm N' EZ, Novio was able to become the horse he was born to be.

Tracey Bishop from Okeechobee, Florida says, "ever since I changed from Purina to Tribute's Essential K, I've had the best results. My horse looks better, acts better, and I've shaved a full second off my time due to the added muscle gained by using Essential K." Tracey buys her feed at Double M Feeds.

I am writing you today as a very satisfied customer of the Tribute Equine Feed!  We have been using your products for three years now with great success.  My daughter is a member of Ohio High School Rodeo Association, National High School Rodeo Association, as well as Ohio Jr. Rodeo Association.  Last year Jessica competed with her nineteen year old pony, Skyler from March to October participating in two to three weekend rodeos a month, which consisted of two to three rodeos a weekend, traveled to Gillette, WY after qualifying for NHS finals Rodeo, went to State Fair …won the pony pole bending, then came home to our county fair and did very well there as well.  I tell you all that because Tribute Feed provided Skyler with the energy and nutrition to compete from local, state, and national levels with thousands of miles of travel and not grow tired or look ragged.  She looked as good at the beginning of the year as she did at the end of the season.  I always tell people to give the feed a try.  We love using the Kalm Performer during heavy competing and then as things slow down in the winter we transition to Kalm’n EZ Pelleted.

Jessica is competing in the OHSRA Finals Rodeo on June 16-18th.  As of today, she is standing in first place in pole bending having only given up eleven points throughout the season with times in the low 21’s and upper 20’s.  Jess & Skyler are in the top six  in  goat tying & barrel racing as well as in the hunt for All Around Cowgirl, standing in first going into finals.

I have attached some pictures of Jess and Skyler at the National High School Finals Rodeo- Gillette, WY, at the Ohio State Jr. Fair, and Ohio Jr. Rodeo.

Thank you so much!

I started feeding Kalm Ultra to my two Arabians only a week ago.  My gelding, Rhafiik, was a rescue and has continued to be a hard keeper and I couldn't get him in the condition I wanted to on the other high quality feeds I tried.  My feed store recently started carrying Tribute Feeds, and I was excited to try Kalm Ultra.  Can you believe that after barely one week on this feed, he looks like a new horse!  He has put on some nice weight and his coat is so glossy.  Both horses look the best they have ever looked.  I thank you for producing such an excellent product.  I have never seen any feed have an effect on a horse so quickly. -Kristen Engebretson from Tranquil Morning Farm

Two years ago, my husband and I were given a yearling buckskin that the owner was having trouble affording. He was diagnosed with being HYPP positive. We consulted Lindsey at our feed store (Ottawa Lake Co-op). She has gotten us on the Kalm N EZ. We have no issues with his fits and episodes any longer. Thank you so much for offering this food for him. -Leeann Lada

Jared Gollnitz from Indianapolis says Lilly is fed Kalm Ultra.

Kathy at Siegel's Country Store submitted these photos for a customer in Covington who has been using Kalm Performer on her rescue horse since December 2010. Kathy says "this feed has never let me down. I love the results we get and I have total confidence recommending it. Thanks for getting this feed!"  Nancy Wise bought Big Ben for her granddaughter, Shea Robinson.

I love the way my horse looks - but most importantly how he "wins" on Tribute!

Congrats to Amanda Moore and her filly "Shocked ToBe Invited" on their 7th place finish in the Open English Lunge line at the 2010 Quarter Horse Congress!
Amanda wrote, "I have had great results and love the way my horses look. Recently I showed my yearling at Congress in the Open English Lunge Line Stakes Class. I am a novice Ammy and to be honest it was my first quarter horse show (I've been showing apps). I have to credit Tribute for helping my filly look her best and helping us to earn a Top Ten finish with a 7th place."

I have recently moved my beloved horse to a barn that feeds Tribute. He is gaining weight and looks amazing. I love your feed.

-Nicole in Medina, OH

I would like to thank the Tribute team and especially Larry Belluscio and Dr. Dan Burke for their help in correcting the contracted tendons on my now two year old filly, Shesa Cool Heir. With their help and the use of Essential K, I now have her legs corrected and after about 6 weeks of fitting, we earned our first reserve championship! She continues to grow and build muscle, and with the addition of the K Finish, she is coming on strong. We are looking forward to our next show. She is doing great!

From Jim Charles in North Carolina

Maddie Blackman and Gordonstown are 3 day eventers from New Jersey. Maddie says, "I would like to thank Tribute feeds           for making such great quality products that my horses and I love. That's why I choose Kalm Ultra for them because it gives              such a great balance of low protein and high fat with great key nutrients in the food for the horses to keep them at a high           performance level."

I just need to share with you that I now have two amazingly beautiful fillies. They are the result of the Tribute feed program.  Both      were born with outstanding bone and muscle. The foaling facility in Kentucky said they are the best foals at the farm by far! Thanks      for your help in making this happen.

Carol Roth

The weanling fillys both seem to be doing better on the Essential K now and the yearling is walking much better and she even      loped across the field this week. This is my halter mare that was reserve at the turkey circuit. I have cut her grain in half and switched her to the Essential K and she's continuing to get bigger. The mare I put on Kalm 'N Fit is changing dramatically and becoming much stronger and really developing muscle. Thanks for all your help.

From James Charles in North Carolina

We just wanted to send a comment to your company that we really enjoy your feed. We run a reining training operation (Pagh         Reining Cowhorses) in Ocala, Florida. We buy Tribute Kalm Ultra from Berrettini Feeds. We have been using it for about a year      now, and we see the results. Our horses are slick and fat and have great stamina. Rest assured when your horse is in training      here, they are getting the best food we can buy!!

From Brad and Esther Pagh in Florida

We are getting our first order tomorrow. I am very impressed with your Middlefield branch! Very nice people and they are even       going to deliver our order to us and then will deliver every 2 weeks. I know that 10 bags is not a larger order, but this does say something about your company. Thank you.

From Debbie in Ohio

Dr. Burke,

We last communicated in November '08 when I sought your expertise in regards to my saddlebred who had recently endured a laminitic episode. Oscar is now doing GREAT!! In fact, I rode him light yesterday. He's bright and alert, engaged with life and            requires very little pain management. His coat is glossy. Thank you Dr. Burke!

We are feeding Tribute Maturity to an 18 year old thoroughbred to keep his weight up. We are getting great results and are very                happy with the product.

From Barb in Ohio

When I first started riding Huntin in Color as a gelding, he was thin and pointy all over his back and he needed lots of muscle.

In less than 2 months of feeding him Essential K GC with oats, he was in great shape! Not only did his body condition improve,          but his haircoat was awesome!

Huntin in Color became a two time 2008 Pinto World Champion.

I'm new at feeding Tribute feeds but I love the Kalm Performer. I'm a professional barrel racer and I love how my horses perform and look. My stallion (Dash of Indian Money) even looks and acts terrific on your feed!

Smitty is a 29 year old Thoroughbred Gelding. He came to my Catchin' Z's Farm on December 11, 2008. He had taken ill where he was being boarded and was in the hospital for three days before he came to my farm. Smitty's diagnosis was dehydration and malnutrition. Smitty's owner of over 25 years flew in to see him and was horrified by his condition. She was referred by the staff             at the hospital to visit Berrettini Feed Specialists, where I work. The doctor and technicians knew that I had a retirement facility and I             fed nothing but the best, Tribute Equine Nutrition.

I got Smitty on a program of Tribute 14% Senior Textured Feed. He gets five pounds, three times a day, and free choice, quality       grass mix hay. I know I can trust that Tribute Equine Nutrition puts everything in the bag that Smitty needs to rehabilitate; no need       for additional supplements.

Smitty is well on his way to recovery, and I thank Tribute Feeds for it. Look at Smitty after 37 days on Tribute Equine Nutrition!

I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how great Linda R. is. When I decided to switch feeds, she was there for EVERY call I made with my millions of questions. She definitely knows her stuff. She's solved all my issues I was having with my six horses and with my mini stallion who has a history of ulcers, and we couldn't get weight on him. She recommended one of the Start to Finish products and it has worked wonders! I have ordered more and have a friend that is going to try it as well. Thank you for your great customer service and for great products. I know my horses are grateful, especially Buck!

Congratulations to the 2008 Buckeye Futurity winner! The owner, Jennings Beegle, feeds Tribute. The Jockey,                     Richard Rettele, is 58 years old and has won several awards over the course of his years in the saddle.

"I just wanted to drop you a brief note to let you know that thanks to Doug Sutherland, we changed all our horses over to your            products several months ago.  We previously used Buckeye.  The change in all 5 horses has been tremendous.  We had several different feeding/conditioning issues and ALL 5 horses look better today than 3 months ago.  Thank you for the products           you are producing, and a HUGE thank you to Doug Sutherland for the time he took to address our needs, make suggestions and           get us pointed in a better nutrition direction."

Carol Williams

Dear Paul,

Five years ago, I took over managing Eutrophia Farms. We are the largest racing facility in Northeastern Ohio, with the capacity  to house 80 horses on the farm. Eutrophia has gone from a farm that basically did our racing at the three tracks in Ohio and           surrounding states, to a global operation.

I am an athlete who trains athletes and I believe that nutrition is a key building block to a strong and sound animal. We hired Doug Sutherland four years ago to consolidate our feed program. We have broodmares, babies, weanlings, yearlings,  two year old racehorses in training, and rehabilitation horses on the farm, all with different nutritional needs. Doug, along with Kalmbach       Feeds, has done a remarkable job to meet all the different nutritional needs that our horses have to get from one  growth stage to        the next. With your products and his knowledge of horses, it has taken the guesswork out of the equation.

I want to thank you for your investment in products, people and facilities serving the equine industry.
